About the Conference
The NHSMUN conference is a project of the International Model United Nations Association Inc., a registered non-profit and non-governmental organization with consultative status in the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations. Through workshops and simulations the conference promotes an understanding of international affairs and develops students’ skills in diplomacy, critical thinking and compromise. The conference is entirely run exclusively by a staff of roughly 70 college students and offers its high school participants a unique opportunity to learn through active participation. This year we will host over 2500 students from the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
